I had to go to the local Royal Mail delivery office this morning to pick up a parcel.
I was expecting it to be very busy, as it's so close to Christmas, and there were cars parked up and down the road outside, but luckily 2 cars were pulling out of the customer car park when I arrived, so I reversed into one of the 2 free spaces.
As I was parking, a car pulled up outside the delivery office door and the woman in the passenger seat got out and went in. The woman driving the car turned her car around, and then parked alongside the parking spaces, blocking access to 3 spaces - including the last empty parking space. Another car came into the car park as I was getting out of the car, and the woman blocking the space didn't show any sign of moving.
AIBU to think that if you're not going to park in an empty parking space, you should at least be considerate enough to position your car so that there's room for someone else to park in the space?
