He's left the house this morning, leaving behind my unwrapped Christmas presents which he has done a ridiculously shit job hiding. I'm picking him up after work and we're heading straight to PIL's house, so no chance for him to bring them.

So WIBU unreasonable to sneakily bring along the presents and watch him squirm when he realizes he's forgotten them?

Please note that my feelings are influenced by the fact that he has been out 3 nights this week and I have do all the packing and drive 5 hours tonight having been up with the baby since 3.30. So I'm in the mood for some minor revenge.....

Leave them, so he has to get you more when he realises. I too am feeling pretty mean today.

Do it...

Nope, do it. Also buy yourself something else and stick a ''from DH'' label on it.

Why are you doing all the driving?

pictish · 21/12/2012 08:47

Yanbu.

LaCiccolina · 21/12/2012 08:47

Totes deserved. Think like Nike, just do it! Wa ha ha! (Evil laugh...)

nextphase · 21/12/2012 08:54

I wouldn't actually take them. Let him find you something else as well, assuming money isn't too tight for that.

californiaburrito · 21/12/2012 09:56

Well, I think that's my mind up then...

I'm going to bring them, wrap them myself and leave them at the very back of the tree. He won't be able to buy duplicates so he'll have to think of something new. Despite all of his smarts he's terrible at secrecy and sneakiness so it's going to be an amusing couple of days. I may have to bring my super awesome MIL in on it as she will be horrified if she thought I was going to be disappointed on Xmas.

SantaBoobs DH doesn't know how to drive, but I'm sure he'll enjoy 5 hours of conversation about cashmere sweaters. Xmas Wink
