Yodel or Sports Direct

Can anyone advise how to get anywhere with Yodel deliveries? My Sports Direct item was delivered by them (they don't know where to) and signed for by someone I've never heard of and a card was never left in my door. They claim to be unable to do anything about it, apart from give out a Sports Direct number which cuts out the minute you get through to it. Any ideas as to what I could do?

I went into a sports direct shop when my order went wrong. They gave me a number they don't usually hand out and I got through. I have since binned it, but you could try that, if you are anywhere near. I also emailed customer services and they did eventually get back to me, about 2 or 3 days later. Good luck, I wont ever be shopping on line with them again.

They are notoriously bad! I tried to track my parcel being delivered by them and it had been returned to sender as they couldn't get access to property. No card left or anything. I was told by the company who used them that they probably couldn't find me so just sent it back! The company said it wasn't even worth them making a complaint despite it making them look bad. Arranged for next day delivery with parcel force instead. Much better.

Sorry didn't answer your question but feel better for the rant.

Just to clarify I was talking about yodel, not sports direct.

Have you Googled for an alternative contact number?

Yodel are absolutely awful, and they lie too!!!!
My sister ordered me some bits from Asda Direct who use Yodel aswell!!!
God awful company, not only did they not send it on the date specified, they also sent it in two parts grrrr.

Not only that, but they told Asda's i wasn't in at the time of the delievery on the supposed specified dateShock, and apparently they'd left me a note-they had not!!!!

I had to constantly phone Asda to complain to get my second item delivered which yodel again accused me of not being in and delivered it the day after.

I was in both times, blinds open ALL DAY long.

Never ever use a company that uses Yodel, they are late, they don't turn up when promised, they lie and they are miserable sulky bastards who cannot be bothered to do their jobs properly and you cannot phone or email to complain either! Even their facebook comments are disabled.

NEVER use YODEL- Some people i know have never recieved their items

Thanks for your comments! After knocking on doors along my street I eventually located my item. It had been signed for by a visitor in another house. I will avoid companies who use Yodel in future. It would have been so easy for them to have left a card, but it was the sarcastic and 'bothered?' attitude on the live chat 'help' that did it for me. Not that impressed with Sports Direct either, seemingly impossible to get through to.
