Bought it yesterday x

OddBoots · 19/12/2012 20:19

There are too many good contenders for Christmas number one, I have bought 3 of them; Justice Collective, 'True Colors' by the British Paraorchestra and the Kaos choir and 'Smile' by Katherine Crowe. I can't make up my mind which I want to be number 1, any of them would be great.

elizaregina · 19/12/2012 20:22

Any of those but PLEASE NOT BLOODY CRAPPY X FACTOR!!!

Carmelasoprano · 19/12/2012 20:48

it has to be the Justice collective - do the right thing... not the X Factor.

HeathRobinson · 19/12/2012 20:49

Katherine Crowe.

One pound fish Wink

I heard this on the radio, and thought that whoever was singing this was murdering the original, and switched it over. Had no idea what it was for. Blush

Nancy66 · 20/12/2012 11:29

Regardless of the cause it's a terrible song.

VoiceofUnreason · 20/12/2012 11:42

Can someone tell me, because I did a quick Google and didn't find a reason, what exactly is the point of this record?

If they are raising awareness, am not sure what more needs to be done. This year we had a report which brought everything about Hillsborough into the open and the Home Secretary is launching an investigation with powers to prosecute over it.

If they are raising funds, what for? I seem to recall that, at the time of the incident - and quite rightly - a single of You'll Never Walk Alone was released to raise funds for the victims' families etc.

I don't have a problem with charity records if I clearly know what they are for. I do have a problem with charity records that are no bloody good and am afraid I don't think this is a good version at all.

Katherine Crowe.

I though the x factor song was for charily too? (and I agree with voice)

101handbags · 20/12/2012 14:18

Guardian website says the money raised will go towards paying the families' legal fees.

Nancy66 · 20/12/2012 14:18

the money goes to covering the legal costs of the families. But the government have announced today that they will fund the families costs at the new inquiry.

so all a little unclear.
