AIBU to be sat in Costa

Drunking a coffee and eating a mince pie that neither my bank balance or gargantuan arse and thighs can afford?

But it's pissing down, I'm really early to collect from school and the 2 year old that WILL NOT NAP is fast asleep in her pushchair!

I'm not really hungry, thirsty or a fan of Costa.... But it's divine. (& they have WIFI)

Enjoy! You would have got totally different responses if you'd said Starbucks though, I bet!! I'm pretty Envy if truth be told. Mine are both causing mayhem at home.

YANBU at all. I talked myself out of doing that yesterday. And am now kicking myself because posters upthread have mentioned frosted mint hot chocolate and Black forest hot chocolate. Drool.

How are the Costa Salted caramel lattes? I love the Starbucks one but don't want to go to Starbucks.

They are O.K, never tried the Starbucks one, so can't compare. Not salty per se, but not all sweet and cloying like other syrupy coffees I have tried in the past. Smile

I was put off by the salt issue too, I was rather Hmm at having to pay to swallow warm salty liquids.

Our costa have taken to putting the little notices with calorie counts beside each item. It ruins the denial.
