To use gift tags as Christmas cards??

I have a big collection of cute gift tags shaped like a mini card. I'm thinking about using them as mini Christmas cards for my dd's class friends. She has been receiving Christmas cards and now wants to give out too. I know I can buy cards cheaply but I thought why not use the gift tags? Yes they don't have envelope but envelope is a waste anyway if you are not sending by post....

It would look a bit odd IMO. Cards should be in an envelope.

How many will you send? Might be hard to sort out who they are going to if you have 30 or so to give out, and might get tatty in the process.

You could fold and glue some plain paper to make envelopes? They should definitely have envelopes IMO.

I wouldnt- will make you look a right tight arse....

Either buy cards or just don't bother :)
