yet another parcel has gone missing presumed stolen within the Royal Mail!

3 weeks since posting 'recorded signed for' and it hasn't arrived yet - value around £50 so am really peed off!

Do we honestly have to pay nearly a tenner to get anything guaranteed delivery these days and just assume there will always be a hard core of thieving bastards within our broken over-priced mail service!

AIBU or just naive to expect a parcel to arrive at it's destination when I've paid extra?

so sorry.....what did the tracking say, where did it go missing? Are the Royal Mail any help with finding out what happened.

Such a pain in the bum. Tracking says 'we have your item'... but they wont even start looking for it until 15 working days after posting date! I so wish I'd paid the extortionate 'guaranteed' fee now. Silly me thinking 'recorded signed for' would actually get it there safely. The customer services dept are only supposed to help with guaranteed stuff as apparently they can't properly track recorded parcels... bit of a pointless service to offer then isn't it. Another lesson learned the hard way...
