I think DH has gone to work with my keys in his pocket - he used them yesterday when we went out for the day cos his were upstairs and we decide whose driving as we get in the car usually. I had mine and he drove, so they've gone in his pocket. He has now gone to work and I am here, suited and booted with the kids ready for the CM and no keys. Firstly, bollocking bloody hell, secondly, whose fault??

His, of course! Grin

KaraStarbuckThrace · 17/12/2012 07:44

Probably his but does it matter? Ring him and tell him to bring them back!!!

kittyandthegoldenfontanelles · 17/12/2012 07:44

Does it matter who is at fault? What are you going to do?

7to25 · 17/12/2012 07:44

Where are the spares?

Saccrofolium · 17/12/2012 07:45

His. Obv.

Mine has done this a few times and has had to come back from work 40 miles away to let me out of the house. Didnt need to rant, he was self ranting by the time he got home.

Montybojangles · 17/12/2012 07:45

Don't you have a spare?
His fault by the way.

Fizzography · 17/12/2012 07:45

Aren't his still upstairs then?

ramblingmum · 17/12/2012 07:45

When I took DH keys to work by accident he got a taxi and I payed him back (separate bank accounts)

fairylightsandtinsel · 17/12/2012 07:49

we each have the spare for the other car on our key rings because we chop and change depending on who is taking the kids. His are not upstairs because he took from by the bed as he left as he normally does, he just forgot mine are in his coat pocket I think. Am waiting for him to ring me (its a 40 min drive to work - this is going to royally fuck up both our days so I want the MN jury verdict because I let rip!!) Can't do taxi cos of kids and its an hour trip to go via the CM and then work, likewise the bus would take all morning too Sad and Angry

What the actual fuck? You don't need mn to justify your behaviour.

And really do you need to let rip. I am sure he didn't do it on purpose. As you said, it will fuck up both your days.

fairylightsandtinsel · 17/12/2012 08:11

calm down Brady, I am being light-hearted! Its a bit of a joke in the house that I am on MN all the time and I won't actually let rip either - I very rarely do and not when it was a genuine mistake like this one. He's coming back, so DCs get a bit more TV, my 6th form class will get a coffee private study time, not the end of the world Wink

It's an accident, jeez, imagine someone posting on here saying they accidently took keys and their dh let rip at them.

There are far more important things to let rip about.
yabu

bradywasmyfavouritewiseman · 17/12/2012 08:18

Fuck off with your 'calm down'

Erm maybe I need more coffee. Xmas Wink

Sorry Xmas Blush

VivaLeBeaver · 17/12/2012 08:21

His fault for taking them.
Your fault for not having a spare set

fairylightsandtinsel · 17/12/2012 08:26

Jesus, everyone's in a lovely mood this morning! I repeat, I was being lighthearted, everything is fine, as you were. I though MN had a sense of humour, obviously not on a Monday morning Hmm Have a good week everyone Smile

Dollydowser · 17/12/2012 08:27

Nobodies fault, is making him feel bad going to get you to work any quicker?

fairylightsandtinsel · 17/12/2012 08:39

it won't and this one was a genuine 50/50 error but he does have form for losing things like keys / wallet/ phone, letting it run out of battery etc that does cause inconvenience for others (ie me) so it gets a bit wearisome and sometimes (though not today) actually I think he DOES need to be told his carelessness or forgetfulness is inconsiderate.

'Let rip' to me means fart...

Hmm
