Twat!

His wknd. I normally drop them over to him sat about 12.

They have been ill all week and still have horrible colds, so being so close to xmas i gave him the choice ti have them or they stay here.

His reply, i don't care!!!

Boys wanna go but DD age 11 is refusing as she has plans with friends.

Yesterday i came down with illness feel rotten! Text him to ask if he could pick them up today and i'll collect sunday. I honestly have not left the sofa all day yesterday really weak and do not want to drive my kidd around like that.

His reply, no i have a mate round to lay a floor.

Now my dc all misn he makes no time for them just carries on with his plans regardless if they are there or not. DD said see thsts why i am not going. I had to tell her she wouldn't see him till nye now but she was fine with that.

So AIBU to not drive them over, i feel like death, and surely he could pick them up after floor??

How sad :( such a shame he doesn't care.

Don't you dare drive- rest and he can collect at the time agreed (too young for a taxi?) and it's loss.

peaceandlovebunny · 15/12/2012 08:34

he's a twat. stop facilitating his access. if he wants to see them, let him make the effort.

dietstartsmonday · 15/12/2012 08:36

The boys are old enough to get the bus but last time they got confused and just came home, so aren't keen.

Think i will txt him and say i am not driving so up to him if he picks them up. Just didn't want to let the boys down as they want to go

Tell him he can pay for a taxi if he can't leave to pick up (assuming it isn't far if you sent them on a bus before?) but you're too ill yourself.

The boys will be disappointed BUT you can only do what you can to facilitate access.

dietstartsmonday · 15/12/2012 09:10

Ohfunny thats a good idea.

Its the otherside of town 3 buses and 20 mins in car. I am def not driving my neck really hurts and nearly passed out a while ago, just not taking the risk!!

3 buses is a bit of a pain - no trains?

dietstartsmonday · 15/12/2012 09:24

3 trains too but of a nightmare place to get to on public transport. Will talk to boys see what they say

Why should you ever drop them off? His weekend, his responsibility! Maybe suggest he picks up from school.on Friday and keeps them overnight? It nearly always seems to be the RP running around enabling the NRPs time with the DC. Make him responsible!

dietstartsmonday · 15/12/2012 09:35

Gold, i don't think he'd bother then!
