I've wrapped all the Christmas presents tonight and I can't sleep now thinking about one of DS's Santa presents.

I've got him some little Cloud Babies and their little arms kept ripping the paper.

I've had to wrap them in plastic bags to keep them still, and now I keep thinking that the poor little plastic dolls will suffocate. Sad

Poor Cloudy Babs.

put more water in it next time Grin

Quick. Go and punch some air holes in.

ICanTuckMyBoobsInMyPockets · 14/12/2012 23:07

I think I'm going to have to let some air in the sides.

This actually seems to be an on-going issue, I've turned my nativity round so they can see the tv, it must have been incredibly frustrating listening to it with no picture Grin

FFS. Do you hear subliminal messages in records going 'Eat your greens, brush your teeeth' as well?

ICanTuckMyBoobsInMyPockets · 14/12/2012 23:10

But the poor little mites. Who will polish the sun and wipe the cobwebs from the moon unless I let them out?

I carry my signing-bear with his head sticking out of the top of my trolley or bag because I can't cope with the idea of him being all scrunched up inside. He takes up a lot of room in there and I briefly toyed with the idea of carrying him in a baby-sling.....

DuddlePuck · 15/12/2012 08:47

I scrape every baked bean out of the can because the leftover one would be lonely... I'd poke some air holes for them.

Sirzy · 15/12/2012 08:49

Duddle - i thought I was the only person who did that!!

I would certainly leave air holes!

I wouldn't mind cloud babies being suffocated. Can't stand them. With you on the other stuff though.

I have a little snowman (snowpeople?) family that are on my coffee table. Everyday DD takes off their hats and scarves. Every evening I put them back on so they don't get cold.

I say "goodbye downstairs" when I'm the last person to go up to bed. Then I say "hello upstairs" when I get up to the landing Blush.

WitchOfEndor · 15/12/2012 09:28

I don't worry about warping things up but when I was little I did sleep with my favourite book and I didn't like picking which shoes to wear in case the ones I didn't pick thought I didn't like them anymore!

SheilaWheeler · 15/12/2012 09:31

I bought a giant Tigger (T-I-doubleG-ER) for DS2 and had to walk around with its' head outside the bag in case it couldn't breathe

AreYouADurtBirdOrALadyBird · 15/12/2012 09:33

I feel sorry for a skirt that DD has that she never wears.
