so earlier today in the office two people were being really horrid about a colleague and I intervened and stood up for her! Would you have done this or should I just have ignored them. At one point they called her a munter! Made me really angry!!

Good for you. I would have intervened too.

You did the right thing - there is no place for that kind of behaviour in the office... or anywhere else for that matter.

Just made me so bloody angry as its hard enough working here at the mo. I just think they should keep opinions to themselves . Even if they dont like her there was no need for the name calling ! Its like being back at school for gods sake

Keep checking your back for the knife cuteboots. I thank God every day that I don't work in an office any more. The bitching was rife.
