sorry if wrong topic but would like quick answers....went into health food shop with voucher I had bought via Living Social, sign up said they weren't honouring the Living Social deal any more, quite rude woman behind the counter said they had been mis-sold to and weren't honouring the deal so my voucher was useless. Can they just decide not to honour a voucher? I didn't argue, just left, but am now wising I had!

What would you argue about?

Chelvis · 13/12/2012 14:06

I would take it up ith Living social, you paid them so I would think your contract is with them?

bradywasmyfavouritewiseman · 13/12/2012 14:07

You paid your money to living social so contact them.

There are circumstances where the shop would have to honour it and others where they wouldn't.

I know a few people who have had problems with living social 'tweaking' the offers.

carovioletfizz · 13/12/2012 14:07

I just don't know - if you have a voucher for a shop, can they refuse to honour it? Living Social are looking into it now.

Your contract was with living social so you will get your money back from them.

carovioletfizz · 13/12/2012 14:23

The problem is that if living social haven't been clear or changed the terms and conditions that the company agreed with them. Then living social are responsible.

bluecarrot · 13/12/2012 14:32

Doesn't living social have a "no questions asked" returns policy? I just bought from them yesterday for first time. Eek!

Trifle · 13/12/2012 15:17

Living Social are shit. I've had issues with them in the past. You cant ring them as they are based in the States so it would cost you a fortune. I had to write a message saying they were shit on every public forum going to get the message across. They eventually refunded me but not without major hassle and me still being out of pocket.
