I know I am being unseasonable but my dh does not have a clue about cars!! We have had so many bangers. He doesn't know where to start with an engine & we have wasted £1000's. we are currently sat freezing in the car as his has broken down but he can't find where the battery is. I thought Everyman knew about cars?!

Sadly, so do most men! 'tisn't so.

I am pretty sure there is no "secret to cars" tattooed on the penis of most men I have known.

Well I am pretty sure everyone knows where the car battery is...even I do although admittedly thats about it.

A battery isnt the only reason for breakdowns though - hence companies like the AA/RAC

Of course not every man knows about cars, thats a bit like saying every woman knows how to cook.

Next time you buy a car, get it checked out by someone who knows what they are looking at!

Why should he know about cars? Why don't you? You don't need a penis to learn about an engine.

(NB. I don't know anything about engines. That's why I pay a garage to service it and the RAC to bail me out if anything goes wrong.)

FWIW there is less and less point to trying to learn about cars as so much these days is controlled by the car's computer.

My OH's brilliant with cars (he should be, he's a mechanic
) , he's just bloody useless with loads of other things, there are much more useful skills to wish for!

True lrd. I also know more about DIY then him but I suspect he's done this on purpose so he doesn't have to do any

Gross over generalisation (these things usually are) but if I ask 2 people for a description of a car, and one gives me the make and model, and the other gives me the colour, the first one's usually a man and the other a woman.
