YANBU it seems that when ITV2 get a film they play it every day!

Cozy9 · 09/12/2012 17:06

We call it The Transporter effect.

GreenyEyes · 09/12/2012 17:15

Oh god yes, last year ITV just replayed Free Fecking Willy every Saturday afternoon.

MyDaydream · 09/12/2012 17:22

YANBU. DP watched all but the first 20 minutes of Die Hard the other night, then later in the week put it on from the beginning because "we didn't watch this bit".

manticlimactic · 09/12/2012 19:23

Back to the Future is on almost every week. along with Bridget Jones

Merrycuckingfistmas · 09/12/2012 19:25

Know what you mean so bloody annoying the American pie films are ALWAYS on itv.

ThePigOfHappiness · 09/12/2012 19:46

Who cares? You don't have to watch it. Change the channel or turn it off...

RedTinsel · 09/12/2012 19:55

ITV2 are the worst for this. American Pie, The Mummy, Bridget Jones, Miss Congeniality all on fortnightly rotation
Not forgetting the once every 2 months showing of Dirty Dancing by channel 5.

MrsTomHardy · 09/12/2012 19:55

Jack Frost was on last weekend and again this weekend....but it's one of my faves so don't mind too much Smile

UhOhChongo · 09/12/2012 21:25

YANBU and why are virtually the only old films shown Westerns and War films? There are so many wonderful old classics that even BBC2 rarely bother to screen any more.

I want some 60s classics that they used to show on BBC2 donkeys years ago Sad Channel 4 used to show some great films when they first started too - foreign and film noir etc.

Everything is so bland, boring and repetitive these days. dh likes the war stuff and it drives me mad!

freddiefrog · 09/12/2012 23:24

YANBU

And since when has James Bond films been considered a 'Christmas' film.

Put Sky Christmas movie channel on earlier hoping to find a nice Christmassy film for some festive sofa snuggling with my kids and it was wall to wall James bloody Bond

CallMeTuddles · 09/12/2012 23:27

Itv have shown Evan almighty an unknown amount of times in the last few months. I used to really like that film (dp really likes it unfortunately)
