I know that I am but wanted your opinions as DH has a differing opinion.

Going away and my friends DH usually has a word for an upgrade!! We have been very lucky!! However, friend and I have grown apart and there is a slight ill feeling between us now. DH asked me if I have texted friends DH to let him know the detilas for our flight. I said I felt it was inappropriate now due to changes in my relationship with friend. DH disagrees and said that is just girly stuff and friends DH wouldn't mind at all.

Should I trust my instinct?

get your husband to text and then it's not an issue.

GhostShip · 09/12/2012 11:58

I wouldn't

He should do it if he doesn't think it would be an issue

It sounds like one to me

If your husband wants to text, he can do so. If I was your ex-friend and you texted me (not having been in touch previously for friendly reasons) to ask for an upgrade, you could kiss any chance of a reconciliation goodbye.

SugaricePlumFairy · 09/12/2012 12:04

He can do the texting if he's that bothered.

I wouldn't be comfortable asking at all.

Thank you all for your advice.

I think I won't do it nor get DH to either. It would leave a nasty taste in my mouth if the boot was on the other foot!!
