to be annoyed at dd's school

I have been trying to get hold of dd's school since Monday as I need to have a meeting with the SENCO in regards to dd's statement and starting medication. I have left 4 messages if not more and stated that it was important and if possible meeting needed to on monday as only day not working next week.

Anyway I am annoyed as not one of my messages have been returned!!Am I being unreasonale to be angry about this? ( At least two of these messages were face to face with the receptionist, the rest phone messages).

no yanbu can you go up on monday and ask to speak to the class teacher and then she can put you onto the SEN teachers, 4 phone calls is far to much they should have called you back,

That is what I am planning to do as Monday is the one day I will be dropping her off and collecting her. I know this time of the year is busy and they may not be able to do Monday but I am more annoyed at the fact I have had no returned calls than anything.

THey also know that we are going through the statement process and that dd is going to be starting medication next week which I need to discuss with them!!!

Well I have just emailed them as well so will see if that gets a response on Monday, am desperate to get it all sorted as dd's teacher goes on maternity leave at the end of this term as does ( I believe) the SENCO!!!

Have finally had a phone call from the Senco and am meeting her today!!

Hi, well meeting went ok, told them about dd's meds and answered questions senco had on it, discussed what not happy about with statement and set a date for review in february. Basically is a waiting game from now till then to see how meds go and how she is doing academically.
Oh I was also told name of new senco as current one goes on maternity leave mid january.
