Charity Shop Music

So I was in a Charity Shop yesterday and the unedited version of The Beautiful South's Don't Marry Her was playing. I like the song but thought it was a bit odd to hear this language in a Charity Shop in the afternoon in North London.

The charity shop i worked in used to play cds that were donated to the shop. Maybe who ever put the music on didnt think there was anything wrong with the song.

Yes I suppose it might have been a donated CD. It wasn't that the song is particularly wrong or shocking in itself I just thought that the context was a bit odd.

I was in a large charity shop the other day and it was playing hits from the 60's and 70's. It was so funny, every one was wandering down the isles singing to themselves, including me If they had switched of the music suddenly I bet we'd have all carried on singing

I hate the Beautiful South and their whiney nasal jaunty trilling. I'd have run amok amidst the aisles.

I took a load of stuff to my charity shop. the other day and its was all. warm and cosy inside with a cd playing Christmas music and i felt all warm and giving. Anyway then i got into my car and put local radio station on to 'lego house' playing what a load of cack . So charity shop gets my vote for best music.

The Beautiful South should be shredded and recycled.

They were a great band, however bad language in north London is obviously not on.The fans of Arse' n' all would agree.

The only band worse than The Beautiful South are those bastards The Lighthouse Family.

I am going to see them on Sunday. Current slightly different line up.is called The South. They play in my nearest town second w/e of Dec every year - it's my gateway to Christmas.
