In thinking my Lidl electric fleece blanket

... is a thing of wonder and a joy forever? or for 3 years anyway which is how long the warranty lasts

Bought it as an early Christmas present for myself last week after spending a week in a fucking freezing house (can't afford to turn the heating on when it's just me here). Have been lolling around in it sweltering at every available opportunity, making Homer Simpson doughnut noises ever since.

And can I recommend that you all immediately rush out and buy yourselves one?

It sounds amazing, how much do they cost

FireOverBethlehem · 06/12/2012 12:40

I have a Dunelm one so I can have my half on when DH's side is off, but yes, they are things of great wonder. Don't know how I managed before I had one.

Have you bought yourself an extension cable for it, for when you need to go to the loo / open the front door? Wink

WelshMaenad · 06/12/2012 12:43

See, I actively dislike sweltering, I actually prefer being a bit cool, so that sounds like my idea of hell! I even shun fleece/flannel pyjamas in favour of flimsy cotton.

They're only £29.

Cheaper than a similar product on Amazon.

I'm sitting here now with it over my shoulders, looking like Pocohontas.

dont you have to plug it in? i thought they went under the sheet on your bed not around your body?

i had an electic blanket last year, i ruined it in the washing machine but it was the best thing i ever bought, i never thought of wearing it though Grin

That's the genius of it VinegarTits. It's a fleecy sort of throw. But it's also an electric blanket that you plug in. T'is lovely and soft and supple. But also toasty. Mmmmmm
