I totally lost it last night. Crying, shaking, being sick. DH complained I didn't do enough around the house and that I was always miserable and complaining about work.

I'm just so fed up. I love my DD so much and feel sorry for her that she's got an unstable mum. I just feel everything's getting on top of me.

I'm not sure I love DH anymore. :(

Is this cheekypickle? x

AllSnowballsAndNoKnickers · 05/12/2012 07:22

Seems like it Sole. OP time to get yourself to your doctor don't you think?

redexpat · 05/12/2012 09:55
  1. Dr.
  2. Relate.
  3. Cleaner if you can afford it.

What the hell does HE do around the house? He's always fucking sleeping. You're young and can have a better life without that stupid arse.

Flisspaps · 05/12/2012 10:26

Sole that was my first thought Sad

WileywithSageStuffing · 05/12/2012 11:23

Ok I am obviously out of the loop with any backstory but please, please do not let someone else make you feel that you are unstable. It sounds like whatever is happening is taking its toll on you both physically and mentally.

You need to get yourself to your GP. They will understand how you are feeling. They will not judge you. They will help you.

Please do go.

Just had a meeting with my boss and it was awful. I'm going to get fired if I'm not careful :(

Came home early from work in floods of tears

OP posts:
WileywithSageStuffing · 05/12/2012 14:40

Ok why would you get fired? Are you having time off work because of whatever is happening? Is it a big company - do they have an occupational health dept. that could help?

Am sure the doctor would sign you off or whatever the term is now so that you can have some time.

Have you booked an appointment yet?

123canyoucopyme · 05/12/2012 14:42

Going to doctors tomorrow.

Have been warned I might get put on capability proceedings.

I forgot to do 2 of my targets from last week :(

It really sounds like you shouldn't be at work anyway to be honest.

You need to get well before you return to teaching.

Sorry but you have been like this for ages now and you don't seem any better. Something has to give so yes, maybe start with your job for now and then see how it goes.

123canyoucopyme · 05/12/2012 14:51

Headteacher said some weeks I seem fine then others I don't.

One minute she says my lesson is fantastic the next is that I'm not teaching them properly

I'm so tired of it all. Don't really want to go off sick, I want to prove I can do it x

OP posts:
BettySwollocksandaCrustyRack · 05/12/2012 14:57

But darling, you obviously can't do it at the moment can you!!

With all the will in the world, I wouldn't be happy if you were teaching my DS at the moment, good one week, not so good the next.

You deserve to be well and those kids deserve a well teacher!

I really think you need to go off sick and get yourself sorted out .

123canyoucopyme · 05/12/2012 15:00

How do I sort myself out? I feel by going off sick that I'm avoiding the issue

OP posts:
BettySwollocksandaCrustyRack · 05/12/2012 15:02

Well don't just go off sick and then sit around the house moping.

Be pro-active..........pester your GP, get some decent referals/counselling. I actually think that by hiding at work you are avoiding the issue even more just hoping it will go away which it clearly won't.

WileywithSageStuffing · 05/12/2012 15:03

It's not that you can't do it at all - just not at the moment. You will be able to prove you can do it, but when you are better. You are obviously unwell. Not unstable. Unwell.

That is what your GP will tell you.

I think it will be hard for them to start capability proceedings when you are unwell. That is the reason for your varying performance - even more of a reason to go off sick and start getting better. The HT will have to support this, not make things worse.

Make sure you tell your GP about how this is all having a huge impact on your ability to do your job.
