I bought myself an advent calender at the same time as I bought one for the DCs because I wanted chocolate they were half price.
I didn't buy one for DH because he always say that he doesn't fancy chocolate everyday. I had one this morning with the DCs.
DH has just wandered in looking very sheepish and told me that he has eaten ALL of my chocolate. Xmas Angry Xmas Shock
So aibu so lock him outside all night. Xmas Grin

Lock him outside, offering him entrance only on the condition he fetches you another advent calendar.

If DP did this to me, my reaction would not be lighthearted.

Xmas Grin

YABU. Tell him he must replace it with one if those ridiculous £80 ones with enough chocolate to start a shop.

kc77 · 01/12/2012 22:10

How rude!

AnameIcouldnotthinkof · 01/12/2012 22:12

I may ask for a nice lindt one, or a thorntons one with my name iced .... Xmas Grin

and also cheating, does he not understand it's one choc per day?! (or 1 replacement advent calender per day :) )

Doogle2 · 01/12/2012 22:12

Does he know that it is bad luck to eat the chocolate before its due ( that's what my parents told me!). I would be demanding a luxury one to make up for it ASAP. Apparently Thorntons will even write your name on it.....

Glitterknickaz · 01/12/2012 22:13

kill him!

EverythingsDozy · 01/12/2012 22:15

You'd better be quick if you're going to get another! I wanted to buy one a bit too late once and there were none left in the shops Sad
It would definitely be reasonable to lock him out!

AnameIcouldnotthinkof · 01/12/2012 22:17

I am enjoying the idea of 1 replacement advent calender per day kc77

Doogle2 · 01/12/2012 22:17

Glitter - surely she should do that after he's bought the replacement as its too cold to go shopping by herself Smile

InkleWinkle · 01/12/2012 22:18

Leave the bastard.

Glitterknickaz · 01/12/2012 22:18

Oh yes, good point.

SlightlySuperiorPeasant · 02/12/2012 10:57

That one looks amazing!

I think I was mentally substituting the goodies in this one with chocolate, sorry!

jidelgin · 02/12/2012 11:18

It's quite easily done at that.

A nutty acquaintance of my mother's once asked her husband to go out side and get the cat (not coming in for its dinner blah blah blah). When he was down the other end of the garden "Puss puss Pussing" for all he was worth she yelled from the door way "The cat has been inside next to the heater for the last 2 hours!" and slammed the door shut. He spend the night in the garden shed under a sheet that usually covered the lawn mower.

I can't remember what he had "done wrong".

Have you got a cat? Wink
