To offer me cheese and crackers as a bedtime snack when he knows I want wine and chocolate?!
He knows I had cheese and crackers for lunch, where he had a delicious free lunch from work. And he thinks its appropriate to offer it? Would it be really unreasonable of me to ask him to go out and get me wine and chocolate??

Leave the bastard Xmas Grin

Actually, no, make him leave. To the shop. To get you wine and chocolate.

I got offered pork pie last night Grin
I'd take the cheese and biscuits but only if it came with a glass of port. Wink

YADNBU! How could he do such a thing? Crackers instead of wine? shocking. Unless he could offer cheese, crackers wine and chocolate. that would be acceptable. With a nice fruit selection too.

i got wine, chocolate and a sleeping child, he got a night in the pub.... :/

KenLeeeeeee · 01/12/2012 21:50

WIBU to leave my bastard husband because he dropped my bottle of wine onto the kitchen floor and smashed it?

At least he'd poured me a glass first.

OpheliaPayneAgain · 01/12/2012 21:52

Why couldnt you pick up wine and chocolate on your way home from work?

EverythingsDozy · 01/12/2012 22:01

I don't work yet, I have just recently graduated from university and my DS is only 4 weeks old so even if I did work, I'd probably be on maternity leave anyway.

I'd take the pork pie.
Dh never offers me anything at bedtime, well he offers "something" but not what I'm after.
Send him out for wine and chocolate.
