AIBU but fan tails ?

Making a Thai meal tonight, DP has bought fan tail king prawns instead of the usual uncooked king prawns I usually buy. I have just spent a good 5 mins (after a nice bath that he ran for me, with my fave bubble bath) slipping/picking off scavengers tails for 3 mins. Should I leave the bastard? Or, should I just serve him a nice meal, he's pretty much perfect otherwise?

I read that as tan fails and thought it would be about fake tan gone wrong
