at work they are selling xmas cards so i brought a pack paid the girl took my £2.00 - this was a few weeks ago but today at work I was asked if I had took the £4.50 cards instead as the girl who sold them to me think she had made a mistake but at the time she took my money the £2.00 - now i am totally embarrassed by the whole thing,

how would you know which pack cost what? they can tell you I'm sure, you can check, then if you took the more expensive one you can pay the extra or swap for cheaper. if you got the cheaper one it's all good.

why should you be embarrassed? anyway, it's the sellers responsibility to make sure you pay the right amount, I'd just leave it actually, her loss, she'll learn not to do that again!

(I sell my own products at fairs etc and have screwed up a few time - I can't run after customers...tough luck if I can't add up properly!)

If she took your money and didn't check the price first then that's her problem not yours.
