Dh chopped a lot of kindling and stored it all in a big plastic tubs next to the garage. The house is getting cold, and I came in quick after the school run, I should have grabbed wood on the way. Now it's pelting down and the wind is blowing leaves all over, the house is cooling and I'm just sitting here watching it all. So do I put on socks and shoes (taking off my super warm sheepskin slippers) don a rain coat and get blow about fetching wood, or sit, here and add a jumper telling myself I'll do it later, and later, then end up out there in the dark?

Well it's cold and dark already so what harm will another cuppa do?

I was just on the blower with my sister and told her I had to get wood from the shed for the fire. We live in the country and the shed is away from the house and I had to wear a head-torch. She said "aren't you scared to go out there in the dark".
Well, I wasn't til I got out there!
