Police stations

So I found an apple phone this morning.

Police station in the town I work in has no front desk service.

Police station in the next town where son goes to school and I collect him has no front desk service.

Police station in the town I live has no front desk service. It has moved to the council offices around the corner where I incidentally have to pay £1.20 for up to 2 frigging hours parking.

Am I being unreasonable to think this is shoddy and wrong on so many levels not least when our costs via council tax seem to go up yearly!

Finally got rid of the frigging phone after getting close to just dumping it back where I found it!

BTW it would not boot, was filthy/wet so didn't want to risk charging and maybe damaging it more to get a contact number off!

But you are a good egg for making such an effort to return it.

Yanbu
No wonder police are so out of touch now days
I remember being able to pop into local station for advice etc
Now when you finally manage to run the gauntlet of the auto switchboard, it's "do you want a crime number for insurance?" Er well I was rather hoping someone might investigate tbh Angry
