My new mattress has arrived... it has clean sheets on it... the duvet cover and pillowcases are airing by the back door for that "line dried" scent...

Lucky you! Relax and enjoy. I have been awake with DS4 overnight, have pains in my legs and have to visit my MIL in hospital this afternoon, then do the school run and visit the GP. I am shattered and extremely envious.

Sound wonderful but don't know if I could... I would probably wait until tonight and look forward to it all day

This. I couldn't enjoy it properly in the middle of the day, but I would spend the whole afternoon daydreaming about it and really building up the hype in my head.

Man I want a nap now.

MummyPig24 · 26/11/2012 12:48

Aaah love fresh sheets! We are getting a new mattress for xmas and I'm so excited. Enjoy your nap!

CremeEggThief · 26/11/2012 13:15

Enjoy!

valiumredhead · 26/11/2012 13:16

Afternoon naps are bliss!

This is what I decided in the end. Then I don't have to get up for the school run :)

Although it is difficult to ignore it calling me...

I think if I ever became disgustingly rich (highly unlikely bu there you go) my single real luxury would be clean sheets etc on the bed every single day.

And someone else to put the duvet inside the (clean) duvet cover.

That was my mother's dream when she was young :)

Sadly she married my father and not a millionaire :o
