To constantly lick my neck? :-s

And when she isn't doing that she is pulling my really long hair.

Anyone got the number for super nanny?

Just distract her.

Put on a necklace and some dangly earings and you can have the joyful alternatives of partial strangulation or ear lobe yanking to add to the licking and hair pulling.

As the MN saying goes
This too will pass...

WhatsTheBuzz · 22/11/2012 10:44

YANBU my 18mo pinches my nose and pulls my top up so he can pat my 37w pregnant belly.

WhatAGoat · 22/11/2012 10:48

I will definitely go and put a necklace Grin can't do the earrings because they would get tangled in my stupid hair Blush

YANBU. Asked 2.9 dd for a kiss this morning and she licked my cheek. Coupled with the constant patting, stroking and hair fiddling it gets a little annoying sometimes. She's probably licking and jumping on some unsuspecting victim at nursery right now.

WhatAGoat · 22/11/2012 10:53

So it's only going to get worse with pinching, patting and jumping. No one mentioned this during pregnancy

You can get special necklaces apparently, that are specially designed for your baby to chew, play with, or lick if they want. Maybe get one of those.

WhatsTheBuzz · 22/11/2012 11:25

My DS still likes to tug on my hair for comfort while sucking his thumb. He is a highly unreasonable child.

Annianni · 22/11/2012 11:31

I'd be happy being licked.

My 20 month old ds likes to hump me.

He does it all the time, and sometimes tries to snog me at the same time.

Hopefully he'll grow out of it by the time he starts school.

TwinkleReturns · 22/11/2012 11:34

Yeah just wait til the big dribbly open mouthed kisses start ... DD would always grab my ears so I couldnt turn away as well and aim for my mouth.

Sirzy · 22/11/2012 11:48

These are what outraged mentioned (I think?) I know a few people who have them and think they are great

JustAnotherLlama · 22/11/2012 12:00

I'll swap you licking, ds 5 months has taken to teething by chomping on my face. Cheeks, nose, chin, eyebrows... He doesn't seem to have a preference and his gums are very sharp now.

MrsHoarder · 22/11/2012 12:02

DS is 6 months old. I have had my hair in a bun since he was about 2 months as I don't want to be bald.

And he does "hugs and kisses" where he clams his arms around the neck, grips the hair in the naps with both hands and bites (he now has 2 teeth) onto the chin. Luckily DH gets this more than me...

wanderingalbatross · 22/11/2012 12:03

18mo DD likes to lift my top up and blow raspberries on my tummy, before poking my bellybutton and giggling.

VisualiseAHorse · 22/11/2012 12:06

My 7 month old likes to munch on my shoulder. And (this is really weird...) tries to grab my pubic hair when we have a bath together!

WhatAGoat · 22/11/2012 12:06

I think anni wins Grin

My 10 month old pinches the veins and arteries in my neck. I mean REALLY pinches them and twists them. I'd prefer licking any day.

BerthaKitt · 22/11/2012 12:13

I was kicked in the eyeball by my 19mo earlier. Then a train landed on my head. It was lots of fun, for one of us anyway.

My 10 month old likes to jump, slap and pinch. Mainly people's faces. The most commonly uttered phrase in our house: 'No BoredBaby, we do not hit/slap/pinch, it isn't kind' Cue laughing and more slapping/hitting/pinching. Sigh.

HappyJustToBe · 22/11/2012 12:24

That made me laugh, Visualise, I should be grateful that DD (18mo) just asks, "What's that?" whenever she is my chaperone to the toilet.

Softlysoftly · 22/11/2012 12:26

I have some mama beads on order for Christmas to stop DD2 fishhooking my lip whilst feeding, then getting a good purchase with a nail and yanking down.

Where are these mothers peering softly down on their gently cooing child? I reckon it's all a trick to keep you breeding and buying.

Fucking Hallmark Angry

EasilyBored · 22/11/2012 12:27

Am I the only one with a child who seems to manage to pull my top down whenever he comes near me? He's not even breastfed, he's just drawn to boobs and uses them to pull himself up, or to hold onto, and I always end up with my boobs falling out.

fluffacloud · 22/11/2012 12:34

My 7mo old likes to pull my hair all the bloody time - I think she's jealous because she doesn't have any yet.

But the little darling managed to 'latch on' to my neck this morning and gave me a hickey Grin

Booboostoo · 22/11/2012 12:45

My 18 month old was biting and pulling on the 'ear' of her Huggles toy, then turned around and did it to my nipple! Shock As if that wasn't enough today she seems to have gotten into the habit of doing it all the time, so far she's scored two 'bite and tugs' on the right nipple and one on the left!

Twattergy · 22/11/2012 13:19

Aw it's fun! My 13mo DS still loves licking me (bfing finished long ago, maybe it's some kinda replacement activity?). If i sing 'facelicker facelicker' at him he heads straight for me, open mouthed and slobbers all over me. I love it! So cute.
