I ran out of moisturiser (very quickly I thought), and so decided to cut the bottle open to get the rest of it as it was expensive and money is tight.

Well no wonder it ran out so quickly because almost the entire bottle is EMPTY! There was a little plastic seal at the top to hold in a teeny bit of moisturiser and the rest was just empty air!

So cross and not buying again!

Um the plastic bottom goes up with the product so that it doesn't dry out. I can't decide if you know this and are trolling or are genuinely angry... BlushGrin

McChristmasPants2012 · 21/11/2012 21:36

Why would you be angry it says how much is in the bottle.

MrsFionaCharming · 21/11/2012 21:36

Did it feel really light/empty when you bought it?

OHforDUCKScake · 21/11/2012 21:37

It draws it up.

CharlieCoCo · 21/11/2012 21:38

As toddlerama says, the piece you can see pushes up inside as you use the moisturiser, it's only at the top because you've used it all Hmm

Xales · 21/11/2012 21:39

Does the plastic seal not rise as you use it to keep the product at the top?

3monkeys3 · 21/11/2012 21:39

That's how the pump works - the plastic thingy pushes the moisturiser up (sorry for very non-technical description).

degutastic · 21/11/2012 21:39

oh bless. It draws the false bottom up as you pump the moisturiser out, dear Blush

Xales · 21/11/2012 21:39

Too slow lol

BillComptonstrousers · 21/11/2012 21:40

Are you for real? You pump the stuff out,and the plastic seal inside moves up as the cream is used. Grin

Youcanringmybell · 21/11/2012 21:41

I love this OP

Here have some Thanks

CharlieCoCo · 21/11/2012 21:41

Oh im confused now Confused time for bed i think Grin

BillComptonstrousers · 21/11/2012 21:42

I'm really sorry but I cannot stop laughing at this, I'm just imagining your rage after you hacked open the bottom of the jar Grin

LynetteScavo · 21/11/2012 21:43

It says how much product is contained within on the packaging.

It may be a case of gross over packaging, but as others have said, the pump does move up as the cream comes out.

BillComptonstrousers · 21/11/2012 21:43

Will she back do you think, or will she be too Blush

MadamFolly · 21/11/2012 21:43

Hahaha

And I was all outraged on your behalf and all. Grin

pictish · 21/11/2012 21:44

Well...if I bought an empty tube of moisturiser I would be miffed, but not FURIOUS.

I don't think that's what has happened though. I think you've just used it all. Soz.
So chill. Grin

JollyJock · 21/11/2012 21:44

RichardSimmonsTankTop · 21/11/2012 21:44
