Just the one? I can't drink as bf and fucking exhausted anyway (oh and ill yey) so would drop asleep on my never sleeping 6 month old, but I've had it to the eye teeth and need something.

I can't drink as bf and fucking exhausted anyway implies that the exhaustion is very much the secondary reason behind the non-drinking, with the breast feeding being the primary reason. If I read it wrong and the OP is happily swigging smirnoff with a baby on her breast then I stand corrected.

I would but then I don't find having one or two makes me suddenly back to a full time smoker.
I can take or leave really but every now and again I want one and have one.

Misswinkly it's the fear of sleeping on her, as in she's on the breast all night. I don't think either one small glass or a cigarette will instantly turn my bm to formaldehyde. S'ok to point out that nicotine will pass to DD2 though.

Pombears thank you, I gave up for the DDs and harangue DH about taking their father away early, you reminded me of that, im sorry you experienced something so horrific. You are all right and it would snowball it has before.

I've taken a long look at the monsters DDs and got into bed with house alarm on. If I'm asleep (for the 45mins DD2 will allow) I can't smoke.

Also had a mini marsbar, note to self, must improve shitty food quota in the shopping.

As an aside, is drinking an occasional small glass of wine when you are breastfeeding that bad? I used to have the odd tipple when I was feeding DD
