I think he's fun, entertaining and I always look forward to his performance on a Saturday. Does anyone think he'll get a decent career out of his stint?

What is the matter with all you Rylan lovers ??? Be serious...would you buy his CD to listen to?
He has a great future as a "personality" or presenter, but, my god, he really cannot sing well!

It would be lovely to have a genuine talent show where people are judged entirely on their singing ability,(i.e. singing what suits them,and not jumping through the hoops of Disco week or Beatles week etc.),and not their ability to create headlines in newspapers with some sob story or other.
I hate that we always have to know their back story, or listen to them saying each week "This means everything to me!" We know...you wouldn't be on there otherwise, would you!!!

He can't sing and I didn't like him until I had a day off work 3 or 4 weeks back and saw him on This Morning talking about having his dropped wallet stolen by a fox and how he had to call the police and describe the assailant etc. He was very funny and very entertaining and I really did warm to him. I agree that he will end up being a 'personality' or a presenter and he'll be good at it.

I think X Factor has really had its day now and I have no interest at all in who goes out or who will win. Maybe Rylan should win to shake things up a bit but no doubt they'll be back next year with the same old same old.

I cant bear to watch his fake near collapse into hysterical tears every week.. its is cringeworthy.. he is cringeworthy...

I love Rylan and im getting a bit pissed off with Gary always having a dig.Its not a sif he has the next big thing either.Didnt Christopher look worried on the show on Saturday he knew if he was in teh bottom 2 he was a goner.
Rylan is not gonna win but i love his witty comeback to Gary the do be gas.

He'll have a career for about a year - then that will be it.

He won't be as successful as jedward. They were equally shit but they did have a novelty value to them.

You can root for who you want. Personally I think there are (and have been) far better singers and performers on this series.

Yeah, that's annoying. I record it so I can skip through all those bits.

It looks though there is far more money spent on Rylan's performances compared to the other contestants.

Actually, I think it might be better for Rylan if he doesn't win. Not a great track record for male winners on X Factor.
