XH had DS over night, I asked him what time he was dropping him off today. whether it was before or after tea. He told me he'd let me know. Still nothing.
DD is eating her tea now.
How hard is it to send one little text?

Ok actually worried now, what if he's crashed the car? What if he's abducted him?

Can you ring him?

Just call? I go through all these daft scenarios in my head if DS is 5 minutes late back too it'll be fine

He turned up at 8, just got him fed and in to bed.
I did try ringing on and off from about half 3. Landline and mobile. Apparently there were out walking and had no signal....no signal my arse it wouldn't have rang out if it had no signal.
Walking! It went dark hrs ago fgs.
I resisted the urge to tell XH where he can shove tomorrows usual wkend contact.
