To be annoyed with my friend?!

She text me tonight asking how my day was. She only does this when she has something to share.

Conversation basically went something like this (over text):
Hi Penguin, good day?
Yes thanks you?
Yes interesting day, found out about the future plans (big chances at her work etc)
That's nice, what are they?
Oh I can't tell you, it's confidential!

Why bother to text that if she's not going to say? Annoying

Anyone got a good text I can send back in response? :)

Just don't respond. She's trying to be important and if you don't respond she'll never be sure if you got the message.

When you see her next don't bring it up until she does then say somthing like "Oh, I didn't see your message 'cos my battery went and I forgot all about it"

Friends and family are often like that. Familiarity breeds contempt you know. You have to be the bigger person and put it down to experience.
