To think the council should switch my street light back on

I just walked out my door to take out the recycling and the light wasn't working, so logged on to the council website to report the light.

I had to have the light number only for the light to say it will be off from 22:00 - 06:00 then I noticed a few more lights off.

I have no issue with the council turning off some lights as it will save thousands of pounds, however this light is by a neighbours disabled bay, and I fear without light she maybe put at risk.

Wibu to report this to the council or leave it to my neighbour.

Well does she work nights? If she doesn't then Yabu. Why would she be out before 6.00am if she's disabled?

Well the odds are against that. You could mention it to her tomorrow and then she can check it out herself. Maybe she needs an outside light of her own? By her door.

I will just leave it with my neighbour then
