An ex colleague wrote a status about Ed Sheeran. I commented with "he makes my teeth itch". He says "don't get it?" I reply with "grips my shit?" He says "nope, still don't get it, try talking white for a change"

For the record as its relevant I'm mixed race.

The problem with e-mail is that it may have been a 'joke' (not a funny one, I grant you, but a joke) but you don't have someone's non-verbal signals to get a sense of their intention.

It does take a racist prick to say "trying talking white for a change". I bet other people would have been shocked by that comment,people who can see his Facebook I mean.
