Major jelly belly!!

Just been to a friends baby shower and I'm so jealous! She had loads of friends there, I have about 5 good friends. She's got a 2 year old and is now 38. Weeks pregnant. I'm not jealous of her children as I have a gorgeous DD of my own.

I was just jealous of how many people turned out for her baby shower! Made me think I need more people in my life!

An I being unreasonable?

Good friends and general friends are two different things, I only have 3 really good close friends but if I held a party and put alot of effort into it I could fill my house with probably 30 'friends'

I never really made friends at art school or at work

But that's my point they wouldn't all be friends they would be neighbours, co workers, family, other mums from school etc etc

I think I would benefit from having more people to rely on

I have 138 'friends ' on FB and have been off work for two months with a broken foot guess how many posted a message on my wall in response to me lamenting about my painful foot ?? 3 !! That's all 3, none of the other sods have even acknowledged my suffering

More people burden your calander then you get guilt for not seeing them

For my birthday i had 120 guest but i would say i only 'talk' to 3 tops weekly

Hope your foots better!!

It would be nice to have a few more friends for those times when not much is happening and I could just ring for a chat!
