To think this parent is an arse

Took my dd (7) across the street to another child's party this afternoon. My dd normally loves going to play with this girl but today she didn't want to go. Anyway I persuade her and we go over but my dd is withdrawn and crying. I feel her head, she warm, she looks pale. I stay half an hour trying to get her involved but she is crying and the other children are now commenting and distracted by my dd crying.
So I say to the dad I'm going to have to take her back home I don't think she is well. So he then goes and gets a thermometer, takes her temperature ( without asking me) and its 36.8. He then says 'she's fine, you are just giving in to pressure' so I say 'we'll there you go but I'm still taking her home' as I leave he is tutting at me and rolling his eyes.
About two hours later my dd starts throwing up.
As I think about this man. I find myself getting more pissed off. AIBU?

Why the fuck would you want a crying, potentially ill child at your kids party anyway? I'd have been bundling you out the door. No offence.

YANBU. Your child, your call. Your DD made the effort to turn up to the party but felt too unwell to join in, of course you were right to take her home in the circumstances. An arse indeed .

I would text him and say yes, she may not of had a temp but has thrown up all evening!

Comfort yourself with the thought that your DD has probably given the stomach bug to him and by morning he'll have an arse like the Japanese flag.

This is the kind of thing my BIL would do but without the rolling of eyes and tutting.

I would call him and tell him that your daughter has been sick and tell him that he now needs to contact all the parents of kids who were at the party and warn them. That''ll teach him :)

Sounds like a knob. Do ring him and tell him the good news that your dd has come down with a nasty stomach bug and please could he contact all other parents to warn them. Also mention it's a good job you took her home when you did as you wouldnt have fancied cleaning the vomit up from his carpet.

I would have to get in contact to say that she has a bug as she is being sick and you really hope that no one else has caught it. Really make a point of it.
