I never get how people can call them a rip off (your half bottle is an exception I suppose.)

They seem so cheap for what you get!

Really?"

Depends how many beefy strippers a hen needs on her big night out.....

Now see i could cope with that kind of negotiation Cortana

For a pork chop i just couldn't be arsed!

It all adds up. If you can't be arsed then fair play. 20 seconds of fluttering my eyelashes and sweet talk at the deli counter and I've saved a couple of quid. If you earn a couple of quid in twenty seconds, then you're right - don't bother.

Bookface - cheapness is in the eye of the beholder.

Good for you....i would not flutter my eyelashes to get anything cheap...people really fall for that shit....not my thing.

Tulisa. I'm totally with you on food bargains!
My OH and I have very very rarely bought meat full price..can't remember the last time we did tbh.
Today he can home with a huge beef sirloin joint which was 80% off and a gammon joint 75% cheaper.

You don't need to prostitute yourself for the Waitrose meat bargains, you just go to the counter at closing time and ask. We have got some ludicrously large amounts of deli stuff for well under a quid.
