That's just what happens in this house too! I just loved the "what's for tea love?"

Of course I wish my OH did more but lets be honest he just couldn't do it.

It annoyed me, we've not had bonfire night yet...

AnyaKnowIt · 04/11/2012 20:52

Its a pile of sexist crap

gordyslovesheep · 04/11/2012 20:52

erm yabu ...it's an advert ...it's November

SauvignonBlanche · 04/11/2012 20:53

I thought it was patronising, sexist shite. Angry

amy175 · 04/11/2012 20:54

I think ads are always sexist. I used to shout at the flash bloke when he said "I've washed the floor for you". I always shouted cos you never walked on it did you?

Apart from its being weeks too early and promoting sexism. How often is that the truth? Wish it wasn't but it is in this house.

OneTwoOrThree · 04/11/2012 20:56

Sexist, maybe. But I still liked it. Gave me a warm fuzzy feeling Grin

amy175 · 04/11/2012 20:57

Me too

Even my 12 year old son scowled at the tv and asked why Dads aren't behind Christmas, why Dad didn't buy or wrap any presents and why was Mum washing up if she had cooked. It is a sexist, patronising pile of shit.

BestIsWest · 04/11/2012 20:59

DD and I both shouted at it simultaneously.

GreatGardenstuff · 04/11/2012 21:01

Totally U to love anything about Asda.

Darkesteyes · 04/11/2012 22:21

Considering Asda have taken loads of people on workfare (work for your benefits) just in time for the pre Christmas rush and so are saving money on paying actual wages that they could have come up with something better than what youve all described. Havent seen it yet.

givemeaclue · 04/11/2012 22:36

Great ad till the sexist drivel abetting mums.

what t about dads?

Hope they all boycott asda this Christmas...

givemeaclue · 04/11/2012 22:37

Op, your
choice to be married to an incompetent, most women aren't

Pochemuchka · 04/11/2012 22:39

What a load of shit! My god it's awful.

Someone buy that poor cow a bottle of gin. She spends ages cleaning up then goes in and smiles at her lazy fuck wit of a family chilling out watching t.v. I'd be chucking knives at the lot of them.

MaureenLove · 05/11/2012 11:51

thast funny

ddubsgirl · 05/11/2012 11:53

Thought it was crap. Makes the dad look like a total knob.

WorraLiberty · 05/11/2012 12:03

It's a pile of sexist shit.

Behind our great Christmas will be two parents making sure we can give the kids the best day possible.

DH will be earning the money for the prezzies/food/drink etc

And will no doubt cook Christmas dinner again for around 10 or 12 of us.
