High street prices gone mad!

Whilst shopping for a jacket/coat the other day I saw two jackets one from Karen Millan and one from Ted Baker both were over £800 !!!! Ive just looked on Netaporta and seen coats and jackets from Valentino, Maxmara and Boss for LESS than the high street prices. Have the high street shops gone mad? How do they expect to sell anything at these prices?

I personally don't see Karen Millen or Ted Baker as high street, they're certainly not to be found on any of the high streets near me, only in the "designer outlet".

I don't think of them as designer! Just over priced high street. Karen Millen stuff is tacky and even a bit slutty. Ted Baker is a bit better but I wouldn't pay full price for it.

We are talking jackets here, not hot pants!
