just a scan of the threads on here, people uncertain of their future, unsure of which path to take

people dealing with loss, illness, money worries, job insecurity, wondering what next step to take

we are all just people trying to find our ways and i wish you all the best, yes even the more difficult people on here.

I feel a bit like this just now.

Feels like the whole country is going to fall apart what with mps seemingly hating real people and people in power allowed to do whatever they want. People turning a blind eye against little kids suffering.

Really bloody scary just now and feels like it's going to get so much worse.

And then there's the personal stuff like illness etc. Seems like it's all for nothing sometimes.

I hope everyone is safe and well tonight. Time to go count my blessings I think. Put it into perspective.

YANBU

I have so much to be thankful for

But

things have happened that have shaken me to the core over the past few years and have left me feeling worn out and lost. These are juxtaposed with events that have made me my heart soar with joy.

DH's contract ends at the end of this month. Things are about to get scary moneywise again if he can't find work quickly enough

We have more good days than bad though as DH, DD and I have each other, our health, our families and our friends. We're okay.

lovebunny · 04/11/2012 00:08

yes, you are right.

lisad123 · 04/11/2012 00:10

I should likely feel like this but don't. I have strong faith that things will improve and this is all temporary.
I know what you mean, so many people, so much crap happening and some awful goings on worldwide Sad

SageYourOracle · 04/11/2012 00:11

Sorry- I should add that I too think of people who are in danger, those who are overwhelmed, those who are lonely and isolated, those who feel that there is no hope, those who are hungry.

It does rather put things into perspective.

And I'm gibbering a little from some yummy Wine I consumed earlier so to bed I now shall go!

YANBU.

comethasmybrokentelly · 04/11/2012 00:19

Yes, well observed . I am lost for sure

GetOrfAKAMrsUsainBolt · 04/11/2012 00:22

Yes I agree. I think a lot of people are feeling overwhelmed at the moment. Seems such a hideous state, the world.

I too feel personally on the edge of a lot of change. Not a very nice feeling.

LucieMay · 04/11/2012 00:25

I'm fine actually!

squashedbanana · 04/11/2012 00:53

add me to the list. I have had a shocking evening. I have my kids and they have their health but it's all they have. I am spent, want to curl up and give up but don't know what will happen to us if I do. I don't know what's going to happen to us anyway

garlicbaguette · 04/11/2012 01:03

YANBU. Thanks for this thread. It's worth remembering most of us are in a bit of a bad way at the moment, and wishing everybody comfort at least.

Viperidae · 04/11/2012 01:18

I think most of us are feeling shakier at the moment because so many things that we all hoped were trustworthy and rock solid are being exposed as corrupt (BBC, establishment, etc) and it is shaking the foundations of our lives.

comethasmybrokentelly · 04/11/2012 08:39

My mum died after a short illness last year I think I am feeling worse not better as the months pass
