Ive been invited along too, but im the sensible, boring one and will be staying in having an early night. Dp will go out about 10pm, stay a few hours, then have 3 hours sleep. I wouldnt mind, but he will be out every night next week while away. I know its his problem if he then is tired, but I have to put up with him! Men are stooooopid!

It won't work out at 3 hours sleep though, will it? Realistically, if he leaves the pub at 12, he still has to get home so that's what, 30mins? Then getting in, getting ready for bed. Probably won't be in bed before 1am.

In a way he'd be better off not trying to go to sleep at all. I hope he's getting a cab to the airport!

It is debateable whether your DH is being stupid, but even if he is then that's just one man.

If someone saw a woman struggling to park and then said "women can't drive", that would be wrong. You agree being equally wrong.

How long is the flight, because he maybe able to sleep on the plane.

I always do this! I regularly have to take a 3am flight and always go out beforehand - either drinks with friends or dinner with DH.

Go straight to airport jump on plane sleep for 7 hours and go to work at the other end

Posted that too soon! I work on the basis that my night is interrupted anyway so might as well enjoy it.

Sounds like my exH, but he wouldn't of even kept up the pretence of saying I will come home and go to bed for a few hours he would of just gone to pub left suitcase by front door and come home in time for taxi to pick him up at 3am, but he was and still is incredibly stupid, luckily he's someone else's problem now not mine!
