To buy Christmas presents in December?

Where on earth do you hide all the stuff??

But YABU for starting a Christmas thread in November

Normally I would have bought presents by now and I hide them next door at Grandmas

I haven't even thought about them this year yet!

I wish I could buy my Christmas presents in December. I start in September due to very tight finances and chasing deals. Downside is the children's tastes change within the 3 months :/

I'm hoping my nephew will still want a Lego Batcave come December, or it's hard cheese...

Just beware, if your DC want a popular item as a present, think top 10 toy or similar, it might not be possible to buy it in December.

Last year I made my DD wait until December before writing her santa letter, she wanted a leap-pad, I only narrowly managed to get one in December, after they had gone out of stock everywhere. Unscrupulous folks had been buying them up in bulk and selling them on ebay at a big mark-up, I noticed this happened for many popular toys.

It depends what you are buying, dd wants a furby this year, I think they are going to be popular so I have bought it already, I don't fancy a last week in December panic trying to find something that has sold out.

I buy all year round, to name the most of sales/offers. Hiding is easy! big things go in the attic/to my mums. Smaller things, go under the bottom drawer of any chest of drawers in the house, dcs included, or under the bottom shelf of the bookcases, or in the divan drawers on my bed which you can only open if you move the bedside tables out the way first
