Ebay.....refunds....you have to ask!!!!

I know that ebay are a shower of ..........'s but i thought i would make everyone aware of this....

If you owe ebay money, they take it automatically from paypal.

If you get a refund, they award your refund but DO NOT PAY IT AUTOMATICALLY!!!!!!

Case in question... i got charged to my paypal for selling my fone, buyer didnt pay up and ebay said they would credit the fees. no money went back to my paypal. Contacted ebay and i quote

"if you have a credit balance on your account displaying in negative balance, you will need to contact us and we will be able to initiate refund to your Paypal account"

in other words, you must ask for your refund, be allowed it, and then ask for it to be paid!!!!

Just wanted to warn everyone else, you never know you might have unclaimed monies.....

You said it, ebay's a shower of shit, you have to factor that into assessing any risks if you decide to sell using them.

They want your money and don't want to give you theirs.

It's good business...for them.

I've had two refunds lately and both have been paid straight back onto my card that i paid with, if you have paid the seller by doing a bank funds transfer it goes onto your pay pal balance however if your balance is negative the amount goes back into credit your balance.
