I saw that video where Axl is running around in his white pants and boots the other day. There was groinal sweat. Or wee. We couldn't decide.

Lars is nothing compared to the long haired fox he was back in the day. That perm makes me weak at the knees.

Not that I knew anything about him back in the day as I was about 5.

I went to see guns and roses when i was twenty weeks pregnant with ds1 in the pit too i just remember axel in his heyday use your illusion days those little white shorts!

I didn't think it was THAT bad. Come in, it's what 25 Years since appetite was released and appaz axl was ill with strep throat.

So glad he's got rid of the dreads though.

Not listened to GNR since the dire Spaghetti Incident album. Tragic that Axl and Slash can no longer stand to be in the same room but maybe it's time to move on. Slash will always be my teenage idol though, playing genius guitar riffs with his manic hair dangling over his face, dangerously close to his lit cigarette!

Sounded to me like he had strained his throat or had a throat infection. I'm guessing as it was a charity gig he didn't want to cancel.

But yes, old rockers should retire disgracefully.

I eventually got bored and wandered off to see a band that had more respect for their fans ie turned up to play..

From what i heard the best bit of his set was when they pulled the plug at the curfew and he attempted to sing in the dark without amps, seems it was so pathetic it was funny.

I now have no time for Axl Rose

Now, Slash, at Download with Myles Kennedy, well he turned up on time, played a blinder and seemed happy to see fans, in spite of the mud, cold and rain.

Oh and I've heard a rumour Motorhead are going back into the studio to record another album

My cousin went to see them at O2 earlier in the year and he recorded it all on his phone. They were still pretty good. Maybe Axl was having an off day?

My first proper boyfriend thought he looked like Axl Rose. I remember snogging him for the entire length of Appetite for Destruction, which as far as I remember was a double album.

I tried another song from the same concert which was much better. I think he was trying a new sound. A new shitter sound.

I agree MrsKeith Axl WAS sexy but I'm afraid the years & surgery haven't been kind to him.
Off to see if the VCR under the bed works & dig out my old Gn'R vids & remember the good times!!!
