Bil put an app on my phone to wirelessly send me a file. I got an update for the app and read it beforeI would install it. It said that I would be agreeing for it to read and send and copy sms messages on my phone - what on earth could that be needed for?

Yanbu - you're sensible never to download something you're not sure about. What's the app? Is it well known with good reviews?

Kes air had good reviews too.

Was looking for some musical apps for ds and didn't download for the same reason - they were asking for permission to copy all my phone and email contacts, copy messages and send them, make calls etc yet it was a baby musical instrument app and the other one was a xylophone app. All through the Samsung apps site. I just don't get why they could need that info to run the app so feel it is highly suspect
