You know just to make sure no one comes along who might get the wrong end of the stick and start a row like?

OP posts:
WitchesTit · 17/10/2012 16:38

If I knew what you meant im sure it'd be YANBU

ObiWan · 17/10/2012 16:42

YANBU.

MadgeHarvey · 17/10/2012 16:42

What does it mean and what is it in reference to?

PurplePidjin · 17/10/2012 16:42

Please No Wanking On The Table? Confused

ThatBloodyKnid · 17/10/2012 16:42

YANBU. Grin

ThatBloodyKnid · 17/10/2012 16:46

Actually, Please No Wanking On The Thread would be a good alternative meaning!

Fiderer · 17/10/2012 16:53

BobblyGusset's: "I just want a laugh; piss off miseries" as a thread hoverer thingy would be great.

We could change it to "fuck off miseries" if we fancied a change.

FunnysInLaJardin · 17/10/2012 16:56

It means Po Not Welcome On The Thread. Tis instead of having to state that the thread is lighthearted. No one should ever ever have to explain themselves in such a demeaning way. If you don't geddit, don't post

OP posts:
SrirachaGhoul · 17/10/2012 17:00

I find this thread highly offensive Angry.

Pffffttt.......

Pocketsocks · 17/10/2012 17:17

Isn't that discriminating against teletubbies of a certain colour? Not that I think we'd understand a word if Po did decide to come onto Mumsnet

MrsKeithRichards · 17/10/2012 17:24

What did po ever do wrong?

I've just eaten Kung Po chicken - it was very offended when I couldn't finish it all.

Hullygully · 17/10/2012 17:31

Some people have real problems you know.

I do, for one. Sainos haven't had my preferred brand of muesli for FIVE weeks.

Oh I can't afford it, I just like to look at it. It's so pretty with all its little nuts n flakes n stuff

Fiderer · 17/10/2012 17:37

I ate a bag of it once. Not with contents, obv. Just the bag.

Happy days.

SaskiaRembrandtWasFramed · 17/10/2012 17:37

Gruel?! We don't even get that - round here it's a shovelful of warm grit.

Trills · 17/10/2012 17:39

YANBU at all, this use of the word "po" seems very childish and rather faddish.

However, YWBU to expect people to
a) understand
b) do as you ask
because you don't own the thread.

LordFlasheart · 17/10/2012 17:39

I a HORRIFIED and OFFENDED by this frivolous acronym.

I demand an apology from you OP Angry

Hullygully · 17/10/2012 17:40

I AM PLAIN DISCUSTED

MrsKeithRichards · 17/10/2012 17:44

Discusted!!!

SecretCervix · 17/10/2012 17:45

at a guess I'm going to say PO stands for professionally offended/offendable??

Or something to that effect?

LordFlasheart · 17/10/2012 17:47

We need a little ticking dial thing next to each thread. If its getting heated on the thread it turns red. Like the 'hide' symbol. This would ensure I dont get miss all the excitement.
