Shrunken jumper... (trivial!)

I've just taken the washing out of the machine to hang up, and think I've shrunk my husband's (rather nice) woolly jumper. I genuinely feel bad as it looks nice on him...

So how unreasonable was I to hold it up against myself and get a little bit excited about the prospect of a new (rather nice) woolly jumper?!

Not at all unreasonable. But perhaps wait a few days before wearing it...

Hehe, YANBU at all!

My gran once shrunk 6 of DH's woolen jumpers (they were the only thing in the laundry basket so she tried to help whilst at ours babysitting)... DS (then 5) looked gorgeous!

Or you could try drenching it in conditioner (hair) ..really soak it in a warm bowl of it overnight. Then it may stretch out again!

(Tho if it;s a really nice jumper ignore that tip!) Grin

I may have done something similar at some stage by putting DH's nice jumper into the drier Blush. Got my comeuppance though when I did exactly the same thing the following week with my own favourite jumper and had to pass it on to my tiny sister Angry. Karma's a bitch.
