I work part time mon, tues, weds

Last week I had tues and weds off due to feeling ill, being sick, headache and high temp. Went to docs and had a blood test (results not back)

Still feeling ill so had day off work today also.

Feel bad for not going in but really can't face it.

Aibu for not going in? I really think I'd do a rubbish job if I were to go in feeling like this. How many days off ill can you have before a doctors note?

Seven days, then you need a note. You can self certify for this period.

KellyElly · 15/10/2012 16:08

So basically if you don't go in tomorrow you need a note.

cheekypickle · 15/10/2012 16:09

Is that seven 'working days' ? Or like a week?

I'm part time

IIRC it's 7 calendar days, not working days. But I might be mis-remembering, sorry Blush

MissAnnersley · 15/10/2012 16:11

It's 7 calendar days. You will need to go to the doctor's tomorrow if you are not intending to go in.

FolkGhoul · 15/10/2012 16:12

They will also count the days you're not working too. So Thursday and Friday will be included.

You'll need to get a drs note to stay off tomorrow too.

Thanks everyone.

Will try to get an appointment in the morning
