Apparently it's a 'bad joke'.

That is fucking hysterical. Hmm

MrsKeithRichards · 15/10/2012 15:15

No it's not funny.

But I don't get people going out of their way to be offended.

It wasn't in a national newspaper or indeed a billboard on your way to work.

DoverBeach · 15/10/2012 15:18

It's not funny and it's badly punctuated.

Tailtwister · 15/10/2012 15:23

No, definitely not funny. I remember years ago a friend used the phrase 'sweating like a hooded rapist' and was amazed I was so offended by it. He seemed to think it was 'just a joke'.

waltermittymissus · 15/10/2012 15:33

I'm not going out of my way to be offended?! I saw it on twitter as did millions of others I'd dare say.

The thing is, if people don't get offended then it doesn't stop. It's all part of our horrible rape apologist culture.

YANBU but I wonder if there are a lot of SA's not being investigated as thoroughly as they should and maybe a victim wrote it??

CookieRookie · 15/10/2012 15:36

SA's in that college I mean.

waltermittymissus · 15/10/2012 15:50

It's possible Cookie though it doesn't appear it would have had the desired effect since the university won't take it seriously.
