It's not exactly smart dress. Our dress code is even more evasive... business like, anything other than blue jeans and sportswear.

You wear whatever until someone tells you to stop.

Trainers would be frowned upon, but not converse it seems. Light blue jeans get culled, but not smarter dark blue ones, fleeces are frowned upon but huge chunky knit ponchos aren't...

Agree with bran if it's unsuitable, the line manager should mention it.
